The Centre for Animal Nutrition was founded by its members in 2008 as a strategic alliance between three groups: The Animal Nutrition Group of Wageningen University, Cluster Animal Nutrition of Wageningen UR Livestock Research and Division of Nutrition of the Faculty for Veterinary Medicine of Utrecht University.
The Centre is a leading European group on animal nutrition research and education, with a high scientific output, increasing student numbers and a large variety of clients and partners. The mission of the Centre for Animal Nutrition is to generate, apply and transfer knowledge of the nutrition of animals to improve their production, health and welfare in a sustainable manner and contribute to human well-being.
